Template:Infobox Actor/Actress Jonathan "John" de Lancie, Jr. (born November 13, 1948) is an American actor, singer, voice artist, and comedian, best known for his role as Q in the Star Trek franchise. He has also done roles in Days of Our Lives from 1982 to 1986 and Breaking Bad. Currently, he is the voice of Discord in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
de Lancie had a recurring role as NID Colonel Frank Simmons on Stargate SG-1. He has also appeared in Andromeda as Beka Valentine's Uncle Sid and on Charmed; he also appeared with Richard Dean Anderson in Legend and later alongside David Hewlett in Darklight.
