Jervis was a villager from an unnamed planet in the Pegasus galaxy. He was a member of the village council along with Renni and Elson, the village leader. Unwilling to leave his home, he chose to betray the Balaran "outsiders". He armed himself and formed a mob that searched the village for Balarans. He gave a large group of them over to the Wraith and was subsequently jailed for his actions. He remained there until a visit from Elson, who led him to believe he had had a change of heart and freed him from his cell. Jervis then led a large group of Wraith from the Stargate to the nearby mines where he believed the remainder of the Balarans were hiding. Instead, he found a trap that had been laid by Elson and Sheppard's team. He, along with many Wraith and members of his village mob, died in the underground explosion triggered by John Sheppard.
