Jervis was a villager from an unnamed planet in the Pegasus galaxy. He was a member of the village council along with Renni and Elson, the village leader. Unwilling to leave his home, he chose to betray the Balarian "outsiders". He armed himself and formed a mob that searched the village for Balarians. He gave a large group of them over to the Wraith and was subsequently jailed for his actions. When Dr. Carson Beckett and Dr. Rodney McKay were captured, Lt.
