Jason is a male human who is a descendant of the Destiny expedition who was born on a colony of Novus.

BiographyEdit

Background informationEdit

Born on the Novus colony after the Stargate on Novus stopped working, Jason grew up learning of the "ancestors", being able to recognize Lt. Matthew Scott and MSgt. Ronald Greer from the Kino footage. Jason also came to believe that Dr. Nicholas Rush was a type of demon; someone that ripped the souls out of humans. (SGU: "Common Descent", "Epilogue")

2010Edit

Along with Ellie, Jason was one of the first descendants to encounter Lt. Matthew Scott's away team on the Novus colony, recognizing them as such. Jason then lead the group to a settlement on the planet, explaining that he was born after an expedition from Novus was stranded after it's Stargate stopped responding thirty years prior. Jason was also one of the people given a tour of Destiny and thanked Camile Wray for the tour and answering questions. He and Ellie later joined the initial team to Novus and Jason was shocked to learn that there was no sign of the millions of people that inhabited the planet. Jason explored the Tenaran archive with the team and joined the mission to check out the shipbuilding facility. After seeing the facility replaced by a massive river of lava, Jason was visibly shocked and is returned to Destiny with Ellie and Rush on Young's orders so that Scott could return to pick up more people. Along with the other Novan settlers, he later relocated to another colony. (SGU: "Common Descent", "Epilogue")

Notes Edit

  • Reilly Dolman (like several regular, recurring, and guest actors in the Stargate franchise) was later cast by creator Brad Wright as one of the lead characters in the current program Travelers, in which he plays Philip Pearson/Traveler 3326. A member of the core team sent to the present from the future to prevent a future in which the planet has experienced cataclysmic failure and all surviving humans live dystopic lives in underground shelters, overseen by an advanced AI known only as "The Director". Philip, the host body of Traveler 3326, is formerly a heroin addict which forces Traveler 3326 to cope with the subsequent issues of addiction while helping his team carrying out their missions.
