Jardia, designated PT4-284 by the Tau'ri, is a planet in the Milky Way galaxy has a Stargate. One of the first worlds seeded by Nirrti after she extended their experiments from Earth. Jardia is remarkable for the fact that not only is the population still thriving, but still actively worship their goddess.

Jardia is hardly idyllic, with two suns and no moon to lock the planet's revolutions into a stable axis. The mildly varying seasons that result from this configuration has forced the Jardians to live a nomadic lifestyle, moving every few months to stay ahead of the ever-changing climate. The regular ice ages, droughts and other weather hazards have made the Jardians into a hardy people, being experienced in survival of multiple types of terrains and temperatures.
