Background information[]
More than a century ago, Jandith, Marseph, and Dowsha's hosts were wounded during an off-world mission. Zelida managed to get them through the Stargate before their hosts expired. The three symbiotes were placed in individual Stasis jars in a secret Tok'ra base on the planet Parva where they waited for new hosts.
However, the System Lord Nephthys invaded Parva and the Tok'ra fled. During the evacuation, the three symbiotes in their jars were hidden away. The Tok'ra expected to be able to return soon after and salvage them but instead Nephthys built a palace not far from the stargate and took up residence, which prevented a return via the gate. The Tok'ra believe that despite Nephthys' long occupation of the planet, she never discovered the Tok'ra's base.
With no known dangers to the jars, the Tok'ra Council felt like it wasn't worth risking a ship or retrieval team and instead waited for the right opportunity to retrieve them.
2002[]
In 2002, Nephthys withdrew her forces from the planet and Wepwawet commandeered most of her forces. The native Parvans rose up against the few Jaffa that remained, driving them from the planet. This gave the Tok'ra an opening to return to the base and recover Jandith and the other Tok'ra's stasis jars. (RPG: "Field of Reeds")
Zelida accompanied Phoenix-1 for the recovery. Jandith's jar was found by Bythal and Lanni in the living quarters, after they pried open a wooden cabinet under a Senet board. [1]
