This race has no known canonical name.  While the information presented in this article is canonical, the people/beings described lack an official name, thus the title is conjecture.

Jamus' people are a race of Humans from a planet in the Pegasus galaxy. The people hid many of their people within a moon base on their planet's moon when the Wraith attacked their planet. They did this using a pattern storage module and planned to repopulate their planet once the Wraith were no longer a threat. As they were transporting their people to the moon base in their shuttles, the Wraith attacked sooner than they had planned. Only one of the shuttles made it to the moon, and the second was destroyed so it would not alert the Wraith to the existence of the moon base. The remaining people on the planet were all killed when atomic weapons were set off to ensure that the Wraith would have no reason to return to the planet.

The surviving pattern storage module contained the great poet Hadon Fortum, and the scientists Barnam and Torral, as well as two hundred children. It was activated when John Sheppard's team from the Atlantis expedition came to explore the moon base. The person who was rematerialized was an engineer named Herick, who was one of the people that reverse-engineered a Wraith beaming device to make the pattern storage module. A second person who was rematerialized was Jamus, a leader of their people. When Herick learned that the second shuttle containing his wife and son had been destroyed, he activated the remaining shuttle's engines in an effort to commit suicide. It also destroyed the moon base's blast doors and made the moon begin to fall towards the planet.

Sheppard successfully managed to fly the shuttle with the pattern storage module, and no fuel, down to the planet. This allowed for everyone stored inside the pattern storage module to be rematerialized on the planet to restart their civilization. (SGA: "The Ark")
