Jake Bosworth is a Senior Airman in the United States Air Force and a member of SG-13.
Biography[]
2004[]
When Daniel Jackson and Teal'c tried to escape through the Stargate to P3X-500 to effect a rescue of the rest of SG-1, Bosworth and the rest of SG-13 caught them in the act. Bosworth and Wells confronted the two in the Gate Room and after being informed of their plans, Bosworth told Jackson to shoot them with a Zat'nik'tel and take their weapons and ammunition to use in the rescue, presumably as SG-13 didn't agree with what had happened to Colonel Jack O'Neill and Major Samantha Carter. While stunned that Bosworth and the rest of his team would break the rules like that, Jackson did as he was told. When General Hammond led a small army to Kinahhi, Bosworth and the rest of SG-13 volunteered and survived the battle. (SG1: "The Cost of Honor")
He and his team travel to P3X-666 and discover ruins of an Ancient city. While exploring the ruins, they come across a Reconnaissance probe sent by Anubis. Soon after, Jaffa arrive and shoot Senior Airman Simon Wells in the back. This forces medical teams to come to the planet and assist Wells and take him back to Earth. Bosworth covered Doctors Daniel Jackson and Janet Fraiser as they treated Wells, but missed a Jaffa and Frasier was killed. Bosworth killed the Jaffa in return but was stunned by what happened. (SG1: "Heroes, Part 1", "Heroes, Part 2")
Later that year, he was assigned to SG-3 and was on board the Prometheus on its trip to Atlantis. He and his team ringed aboard a Goa'uld Al'kesh that was broadcasting a distress signal. After they arrived, Vala Mal Doran ringed to the Prometheus in Kull armor and shot the crew with a Zat'nik'tel and ringed them to the Al'Kesh. (SG1: "Prometheus Unbound")
Alternate timelines[]
- In an alternate timeline accidentally created by SG-1, he was part of the team sent to Chulak to restore the timeline in 2005. He was killed by the Goa'uld who had taken Daniel Jackson as a host during the escape. (SG1: "Moebius, Part 2")
