Dr. J.R. Edwards is a civilian Department of Defense employee and a Geologist deployed at Phoenix planet.
Biography[]
In 2003, when Phoenix Site's infrastructure was being worked on, he informed Sergeant Carmichael Gastogne and Keenan mac Tavish that there had been no signs of dangerous gases. He also instructed them on stabilizing the beam the group was working on, before the next quake caused the ground to fall out under them and mostly buried them under rubble.
Personality[]
Dr. Edwards prefers the solitude of the underground base over the activity of Haven. He's fond of science fiction and fantasy and he's ecstatic that he's living science fact beyond his imagination. He was devastated that George R.R. Martin didn't finish his book before Edwards was deployed to Phoenix planet. (RPG: "In Ruins")
