Inverted phase communicators carried on a person's wrist allow person-sized objects to pass through solid matter. The phase-shifting effect can be transmitted to another person by holding hands. Not only does this device allow the wearer to walk through walls and doors, it can also be used to pass through Earth's Iris. The phase-shifter can also be used on animals, such as cats.
