Summary
Have you ever wondered that the Stargates all seem to be in deserted locations, so no one ever sees SG-1 arrive? In this story, told mostly in flashbacks, Daniel Jackson is left on a planet after the upheaval caused by the activation and contact with a society that has been in a cold war with their neighboring country.
