There are two hubs in the gate room aboard the Destiny. They are situated next to the doors on the right and left sides of the Stargate. Their function has yet to be discovered by the new crew of the Destiny.
The hubs are comprised of pipes and tubes of various sizes, as well as valves and gauges that contain Ancient lettering. However the lower Ancient lettering says BOYD. The devices run into the floor of the gate room and into the mezzanine above.
