Hou Kaingan oyster

Hou Kaingan oyster are native oysters of the planet Hou Kainga. The oysters make a black pearl. The way they make them by secreting layers of materials that make up the pearls, however, concentrates the Naquadah in the oyster's environment in a unique crystalline structure. Radioactive decay makes oysters pearls slightly warm to the touch and a sufficiently energetic impact can result in an explosion. Oysters can grow to several feet.
