The Hoth system (named by Eli Wallace after the Star Wars planet) is a star system which was visited by the Destiny in 2009. The Destiny dropped out of FTL in this system a short while after the crew of the Destiny expedition began to notice their water reserves dropping. Only a single planet in the system contained a Stargate which was dubbed Hoth. (SGU: "Water")
