Horus was Abydonian who was part of the Horus Guard serving under Ra when he visited Abydos for the final time. When Dr. Daniel Jackson was brought before them, he was ordered to kill him which he did without question. He also witnessed Ra throw another Horus Guard up against the wall due to the latter's failure to capture the escaping Tau'ri. Following this, he continued to enforce Ra's will and approached the disguised Tau'ri before being shot by Colonel Jack O'Neill. His helmet was then removed and it was revealed to the Abydonians they are Human. He was possibly named after the system lord Heru'ur. (Stargate)
