The Holo room is a room in the central spire of Atlantis. It is capable of accessing historical logs within the database, providing hologram representations as well. The room draws a great deal of power compared to the database terminals, so the Atlantis expedition uses it sparingly. (SGA: "Rising", "The Siege, Part 2")

Ganos Lal devised a teaching program to instruct young Lantean children about their history, using the holo room. It was through another program by the Lantean Melia that the Atlantis expedition found out about the history of Atlantis and what became of the Ancients as it was set to automatically run the first time the room was activated. (SGA: "Rising") (SG1: "The Pegasus Project")

It was in the holo room that Lt. Colonel John Sheppard, after being transported 48,000 years into the future, activated the hologram program created by Rodney McKay to help him get back home.
