Himmel Army is part of the military strength of the planet Himmel. The army built up in Nazi Germany once threatened to dominate the world in World War II. The remains of this fearsome power combines the most advanced human technology from the era and those of the Goa'uld to create a truly formidable soldier. The Army officer corps of the People of Himmel was recruited from the best and brightest of the terrestrial (Nazi) German Army for colonization. The officers passed their gifts to their children, who hold the majority of Himmel's military might in their hands. The enlisted personnel are numerous: All male citizens must serve in the military, SS, or the SA for a period of no less than five years, most enter the Army to fulfill this requirement. The Army has an special unit, the Himmel army has recognized the benefits of a trained sharpshooter corps in warfare, or in riot control. accordingly the elite of this military force are its marksmen, who are subject to rigorous selection procedures and merciless training in pursuit of excellence un their chosen field.
