The Hidoman tree-rat is a native animal of planet Hidoma. Common in wooded area in Province and Shimana's remaining parks, tree-rats are an inquisitive long-limbed species of rodents. As with terrestrial possums, tree rats have sinuous bodies about 30 inches long with a tail about half as long, and are covered in short soft gray or brown fur. Their faces are narrow and pointed with shiny black eyes and they have a spray of whiskers on the tip of their noses. Tree-rats are curious animals, often hungry and willing to eat almost anything. They will make off with unattended small objects and usually drop them when they lose interest or realize that it is inedible. Tree rats are social animals and are usually found in groups of 6-10.
