Hidoman squid is a native animal of planet Hidoma. These invertebrates measuring approximately four feet from tentacle tip to the top of the head is Hidomas closest thing to native intelligent life. Over the past few thousand years, squids have developed a rudimentary amphibious capability so that they can survive without water for about 12 hours (longer very humid conditions). They have tentacles and 10 are bilaterally symmetrical with excellent sight in water or out of it.
Most octopuses have thick rubbery skin and two large eyes on each side of the elongated conical heads. They can change color to match the surroundings. Octopuses have some limited use of tools and are very talented creatures. They are omnivorous, they prefer fish and have recently started hunting. The creature lives in the ocean and looking up slowly sapience. Those gigantic towers around Shimana's port makes it most interesting sounds and its just a matter of time before invertebrate swimming or crawling northward explore structures.
