Henare was a male human, who was associated with the Tau'ri and was a part of Phoenix Site personnel. He worked as an orchard foreman and a seller in Haven's black-market. (RPG: "Core Rulebook", "Watershed")

He was one of Haven's first HOME settlers. He requested full access to Phoenix Site but General Loyer denied him.
In 2002, when the river's water levels were dropping, he led a group of established and respected human members of Haven's society. Henare trusted that the Phoenix Alliance would ensure enough drinking water for the residents, however, he was concerned about the situation because if the water level decreased for too long the orchards would suffer, and the loss of the orchard would put an end to many of his black-market activities.
Henare believed that Phoenix Site redirected the water supply to support secret technology research and convinced others of this belief. From this, he reasoned that Haven had increased dependance on the Site and that because of this theft of their water, there should be greater transparency from the Phoenix Alliance.
Henare found common ground with the Aturen Councilor Hatana. (RPG: "Watershed")
