Rush has a heart attack

Myocardial infarction or acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack, is the interruption of blood supply to part of the heart, causing heart cells to die.

History[]

Lt. Colonel John Sheppard's father Patrick Sheppard died from a heart attack in 2008, as did Lt. General George S. Hammond. (SGA: "Outcast", "Enemy at the Gate")

In 2006, due to taking a lot of amphetamines and other stimulants to stay awake and fight off the sleep parasite, Dr. Reimer suffered a heart attack. Lt. Colonel Samantha Carter and Dr. Daniel Jackson tried to revive him without success. (SG1: "Morpheus")

Dr. Nicholas Rush suffered from some sort of cardiac event, while he sitting in the Destiny interface chair. (SGU: "Human")
