Rodney McKay uses his healing ability to save Radek Zelenka.
The healing power is a near ascension ability that certain evolved humans such as the Ancients have demonstrated. Through a largely unknown process, they are able to rapidly heal themselves and others of potentially fatal infections and injuries. However, to heal another greatly weakens the healer. Ayiana was able to heal most of those who found her under the ice of Antarctica near the Stargate from the plague she was carrying.
