Hanno was a male Byrsa native of Cartago in the Milky Way galaxy.

Background information[]
As a young boy, Hanno and his father Himilco were captured by Jaffa when Apophis visited Cartago to harvest hosts. Apophis ordered his First Prime Teal'c to kill a member of the Byrsa people Teal'c chose Himilco due to his damaged leg. (SG1: "Cor-ai")

Years later, when SG-1 traveled to this planet, Hanno, now a grown man, recognized Teal'c and placed him under arrest to face Cor-ai. After the Goa'uld attack Cartago and take Teal'c and several Byrsa hostage. Teal'c successfully defeated the Jaffa and saved the Byrsa. After seeing this, Hanno realized that Teal'c was not the same man that killed his father and released him. (SG1: "Cor-ai")
