Golan Jarlath was once a gun runner and was convicted for it. Eventually, he was paroled and allowed to participate in Loop of Kon Garat.
His ship was sabotaged and he was forced to bow out after second stage of race. He was saved by Warrick Finn. Later, he altered communication system of Sebrus and used to disable Muirios's ship and let La'el Montrose win. (SG1: "Space Race")
