Gilligan's Island was a popular television series on Earth.
When the SG-1 arrives on Arkhan's World, Dr. Daniel Jackson comments that "there's no phones, no lights, no motorcars." This is a reference to the theme song of Gilligan's Island. (SG1: "It's Good to Be King")
In 2006, Vala Mal Doran pitched an idea to Martin Lloyd about a cloaked Tel'tak on a simple three-hour reconnaissance mission which Martin guessed was a ripoff of Gilligan's Island. (SG1: "200")
