Genetic memory (or genetic knowledge) is a genetic trait where creatures are able to pass on their memory to their offspring. Goa'uld Queens are capable of passing on their memory to their offspring voluntarily. Because of this, the Goa'uld are born with the complete memory of their lineage, making them immediately intelligent—and also ego-maniacal and evil. (SG1: "The Enemy Within", "Cure")
