The G36 is a Tau'ri assault rifle used by Stargate Command and the Atlantis expedition. The rounds fired by those weapons are capable of piercing Jaffa, Ori Soldier and Wraith body armor, and enough of those weapons, as well as other types could also be capable of eventually piercing Vanir armor, and killing mutated hosts to interdimensional parasites. Those weapons can be found stored in such areas including Stargate Command, Atlantis, the Midway space station and onboard Daedalus-class vessels.
