The French Ambassador is the ambassador for France to the United Nations Security Council.

2003[]
In 2003, he, along with the British Ambassador and the Chinese Ambassador, was made aware of the existence of the Stargate Program. He was reluctant to entrust the Gate to the hands of the United States Air Force, but was convinced otherwise when Thor expressed the Asgard High Council's preference that Stargate Command remain in the command of Major General George S. Hammond and SG-1. (SG1: "Disclosure")
