Fondue

Fondue is a Tau'ri melted cheese dish that is served and eaten communally. Things like bread and vegetables are dipped into the fondue using forks. (RPG: "Core Rulebook")

The town of Haven on Phoenix planet is called Fondue by the locals. The various races of inhabitants had different ways of putting together dwellings, which gave the town an unplanned, patchwork appearance that created distinct quarts in the town. This melting pot of cultures is why it's called Fondue. (RPG: "Watershed")

Haven also has a Fondue Day, and Fondue is served both in the plaza and in Phoenix Site during the celebration. Those who were lactose intolerant or didn't like cheese were taken care of by the Aturen delegation.^[1] (RPG: "Core Rulebook")
