In 1999, after Apophis was tortured with a Hara'kesh and had been in a Death Glider crash, he was brought to Stargate Command after he asked SG-1 for help. Dr. Janet Fraiser took him into the OR and later informed Major General George Hammond and SG-1 of his condition, which included that both of his host body's femurs were smashed.
