Aftermath[]
Following SG-1's victory in successfully averting the asteroid away from Earth,[3] Anubis launched a second attack on Earth several months later when he used a weapon constructed by the Ancients in attempt to destroy Earth and its Stargate.[4] However using a combination of the newly-constructed X-302 and its hyperdrive function, Colonel Jack O'Neill valiantly risked his life to get the Beta Gate away from Earth before it exploded.[5]
Anubis launched a third attack on Earth when he believed that the Lost City of the Ancients was on Earth. Using the knowledge of the Ancients he received by downloading the Ancient Repository of knowledge found on P3X-439,[6] Colonel O'Neill and the rest of SG-1 were able to locate the ancient outpost located in Antarctica and use the drone weapons stored in the Ancient outpost to defeat Anubis and his fleet and successfully defend Earth.[7]
