The Ethloninan pesticide was a pesticide the Ethloninans developed to combat the Mutated locust plague that was unleashed upon Ethlos by Klorem.[1]
Overview[]
The Ethloninan's pesticide was toxic[2] and highly potent.[3] They were fully aware their pesticide would cause irreparable damage to their planet's ecosystem.[4] The pesticide could be released as a gas[2] and as rained down chemicals.[3] It would take weeks for the pesticide to kill the Mutated locusts.[4]
History[]
The Ethloninans secured their Stargate room with their pesticide. The chemicals would rain down from the ceiling, which would dowse whatever came through the Stargate.[1]
Even though they were aware of the damage the pesticide would cause to their ecosystem, they felt like they didn't have an alternative and had to act quickly against the locust plague,[1] so the Ethloninan military planned to use it.[5] Their fleet of dirigibles were equipped with large canisters of the pesticide gas to spray them. One such dirigible was knocked out of the sky by the locusts and crashed into a building. An attached pesticide gas tank leaked, which poisoned civilians.[2] (RPG: "Ecology")
