Ernest Littlefield was a scientist that worked with Professor Langford on experimenting on the Stargate in 1945. While working on the project, he met Langford's daughter Catherine, and the two fell in love. Eventually, Langford and Littlefield were able to make the gate work, and Littlefield went through it to Heliopolis, discovering a meeting place for the Alliance of Four Great Races. However, the DHD was damaged, and he was unable to dial home, and remained trapped there for fifty years. In 1997, SG-1 was able to rescue him. He and Catherine decided to spend the remaineder of their lives together. Template:Stub
