"Episode 9" is the ninth episode of the first season of Stargate Origins. It originally aired on 8 March 2018.

Synopsis

United in a common goal, Catherine, her team, and the Abydonians put a plan in place to stop Brücke. But, as Professor Langford attempts to create a divide between Aset and the Nazis, a new complication arises.

Plot

As Eva Reinhardt and Wilhelm Brücke prepare to film, Aset asks Professor Paul Langford what they should do with the other humans that arrived after them. She presents him his daughter's hairpin, which he takes and tells her that they prefer to fight their own battles.

Catherine Langford asks Kasuf if he's seen the glyphs from Brücke's notebook and he takes her to the Cartouche located in the caves under the city of Nagada. She makes a copy of the Point of origin symbol then destroys the bottom half of the cartouche to prevent Brücke from being able to use it.

Meanwhile, Wasif Alabu Khan and Captain James Beal are given the lay of the land and Wasif and Motawk have been getting closer. The group enter Aset's temple and other Abydonians take away a shipment of Naquadah, not wanting their labor to benefit Brücke. Catherine and Kasuf rejoin the others. Catherine realizes that even though she destroyed the cartouche, Aset could just open the Stargate for him.

Brücke suggests leaving Langford on Abydos to continue to be a translator. Paul talks to Aset, telling her that Brücke will betray her and that he is dangerous. Brücke gets physical with Langford, causing him to drop Catherine's hairpin. Brücke recognizes it and starts asking questions. Langford tells Aset he isn't treacherous, and she has Serqet release him from his bonds. The two men get into a fist fight. Serqet moves to step in, but Aset has her stand down, since humans prefer to fight their own battles. Brücke pulls his gun on Langford, but they're interrupted by the arrival Ra's pyramid ship.
