Douglas "Doug" Anders was the actor from the TV show Wormhole X-Treme! who played "Grell," a character undoubtably based on Teal'c. Unlike Teal'c, however, Grell was a robot.
"Grell" was not been heard to speak, although it is clear he is capable of speech as Raymond Gunne as "Dr. Levant" and Yolanda Reese as "Major Monroe" ask him a question, but he is interrupted before being able to answer.
In the end credits, his last name is given as "Anderson."
