DiC Entertainment (pronounced "deek") ("DiC" short for Diffusion, Information et Communication) was an international film and television production company formed in Luxembourg as "DIC Audiovisuel" in 1971. The American branch of the company was formed in 1982 and had been the company's corporate headquarters since 1986.
DIC co-produced the non-canon animated series Stargate Infinity with MGM Television Entertainment.
On July 23, 2008, DIC was purchased by (and then folded into) the Cookie Jar Group.
