The Destiny garden is a large room with dome on right side of Destiny where the crew is growing some of their own produce. The idea for the dome room converted into a garden was brought up by Doctor parks in a meeting, however was dismissed by Colonel Young as he wanted the weapons systems repaired for further encouters. Destiny's garden is able to produce a much larger quantity of products thant the orginal hydroponics lab. The garden is also able to produce a larger demand for oxygen than before which may even benefit the crew. The repairs to domed room have clearly diminished the amount of power destiny required to extend shields over damaged sections, also caine was brought to the garden shortly before he died along with the other s who remained on the planet.
