Biography[]

2009[]
Becker worked in the officers' mess hall and was cooking when Icarus Base was attacked by three Lucian Alliance Ha'tak vessels. He and roughly 80 people were forced to evacuate. He ended up on the Destiny, an Ancient spaceship located several billion light years from Earth. (SGU: "Air, Part 1", "Air, Part 2")
Once aboard the Destiny, he measured and served rations to the expedition members. When it was discovered that the ship was on a direct course with a nearby star, a lottery was held to determine the 15 people who would board a Ancient shuttle and leave to what was believed to be a habitable planet. Becker's name was the first to be drawn in the lottery. (SGU: "Darkness", "Light")
In an attempt to add flavor the rations, he visited Dr. Inman in her lab and was given flavor additives to add to them. (SGU: "Variety")
2010[]
With the assistance of Varro, he cooked the Space deer that MSgt. Ronald Greer killed on an unnamed planet. (SGU: "The Hunt")
He entered a stasis pod for the trip to the next galaxy. (SGU: "Gauntlet")
Alternate timelines[]
- In an alternate timeline, he chose to return to Earth, but like everyone else except for Colonel David Telford, didn't make it and was presumed dead. However, he ended up on a planet that he and other survivors called Novus, 2,000 years in the past. (SGU: "Twin Destinies", "Common Descent")
