In 1997, when it was believed that Daniel was dead, SG-1 went through and packed up his apartment. (SG1: "Fire and Water")
In 2001, Daniel became addicted to the Light Matrix Hologram. After being unable to return to it on P4X-347, he fell into a depression and Jack O'Neill found Daniel on the ledge of his apartment's balcony. Jack talked to him until he was able to stop the suicide attempt. (SG1: "The Light")
Daniel later lived in a different home. (SG1: "Chimera")
