The Domain of the System Lord Cronus was one of the largest domains among the Goa'uld Empire. Cronus' territory contained planets many other Goa'uld coveted. Nirrti sought to extend her rule over over Cronus' domain by attempting to assassinate him on Earth during negotiations with the Asgard, though this resulted in Nirrti being detained by Cronus. While negotiating with Apophis, Heru'ur asked for all the planets ruled by Cronus, in exchange for Apophis taking the rest of the Empire. Cronus' domain collapsed with his death at the hands of SG-1.
