The Control Interface Room is a room on the Destiny where personnel can access ship's systems via the "Apple Core"; however, the new crew only has limited access, as systems like navigation are protected by a master pass-code for security purposes. Although used as a bridge in many respects by the Destiny Expedition, the actual bridge/control center of the Destiny is likely to be located elsewhere on the ship, in one of the many inaccessible or unexplored areas. Dr. Nicholas Rush can usually be found in this room monitoring systems, gaining access to Destiny database or solving one problem or another. There are three consoles in this room and they are tied into the Control Interface Hub. From this room, one can monitor all of the ship systems, such as the current power reserves and consumption rate. Rush was able to find and display Destiny's flightpath on a mid-air HUD.
