Colm Meaney is an Irish actor. He was a featured guest star in a recurring role as Cowen during seasons one and two of Stargate: Atlantis. He is probably best known to most science fiction fans as Miles O'Brien in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and to recent TV audiences as Thomas Durant on Hell on Wheels.
