The Cloister is a village in a valley within a Time dilation field. It originally was created by the Lanteans as a safe place where humans could evolve and ascend.
Time within the field travels around 250 times faster then in outside world. In 2005 the citizens of the Cloister ascended. (SGA: "Epiphany")
