Chainmail, also known as Chain mail or Chain armor, is a type of armor consisting of links of metal chain.
A standard suit of chainmail was typically used in Jaffa armor. Apophis and Heru'ur had both worn gold chainmail as part of their gold Jaffa armors. (SG1: "Children of the Gods", "Secrets")
