The Captain of Aurora was the Lantean Captain of the Aurora-class battleship Aurora. He and the rest of his crew were killed while in stasis by his first officer who was really a wraith pretending to be her he was t first skeptical that they were in stasis meaning the aurora that he and his crew was in was not real although he was able to believe it eventully despite his first officer manipulating him not to believe sheppard he gave Lt. Colonel John Sheppard his code to activate the Aurora's self-destruct, in an attempt to destroy the two Wraith cruisers, which were about to attack the Daedalus. The ensuing explosion was stated to be powerful enough to destroy anything within a 2 km radius.
Later, Sheppard's team commemorated the Aurora, her captain, and his crew for sacrificing their lives to save their own in a toast on Atlantis. (SGA: "Aurora")
