- "My queen is Death. And I will never serve another."
- ―Bell[src]
Bell was a Blade of Night, who was loyal to Queen Death.
Biography[]
Bell was born on Queen Edge's hive ship. He left before Moonwhite and Light Breaking were born. He was loyal to Queen Death and believed she was the greatest Queen of their day and wouldn't serve another. There was a plan to use an engineered version of Blood fever.
He joined Moonwhite's hive under the guise that his hive was destroyed by Death and Moonwhite welcomed him back. He was considered a more than competent Blade and was highly spoken among his age-mates.
Moonwhite had considered elevating Bell to her Zenana and had planned to allow him to sire a son after discussing it with him and her Consort. When the genetics were calculated of their potential offspring however, there were anomalies, which Bell had created. After Moonwhite spoke to Light Breaking about the anomalies and left in the Nimble to return to her Hive, Bell infected her and the scout ship with the engineered version of Blood fever. They crashed onto the planet Teseirit. In her and her loyal Wraith's weakened state, he bended Moonwhite's will, pushing her. He told her where an Iratus bug nest was so she could be fed by the queen so she might be healed since he claimed nothing he had done seemed to slow the fever.
After they climbed to the nest, Moonwhite realized what Bell was doing and broke his hold. Her men fought Bell, but Bell beat them down and flung Moonwhite into the nest where she was seized by the Iratus queen. He fed on the Wraith, but it wasn't enough to heal him completely and he passed out at the cave's entrance.
Later, Blaze, Forge, Salt, Everlasting, and AR-1 found him and Moonwhite. Bell was given the Gift of Life by Forge to heal him and Bell lied about what happened. Bell kept Moonwhite unconscious until Salt created a story that caused Bell to expose his crime while Moonwhite was awoken with the help of Teyla Emmagan's Wraith abilities.
Moonwhite told everyone what happened and fed upon him. Before he died, Bell told them that Queen Death had a daughter, however this was dismissed by the others as a way to try to keep them in fear of her legacy. (SGA: "Lost Queen")
