The Bedrosians are a race of Humans who are descended from the Tau'ri of Earth, though they did not believe this to be the case. Instead, they believed that the Goa'uld, Nefertum, created them on their homeworld, rather than having been taken through the Stargate. Despite being descended from the Tau'ri, by the early 21st Century, the Bedrosians were in fact more technologically advanced than their brethren from Earth. Because of their beliefs, the Bedrosians were at war with another race of Humans on their planet: the Optricans. (SG1: "New Ground")
