The Stasis Chamber Room is a location on Atlantis where an Ancient Stasis pod is held. The room is a large room with the stasis chamber at the back, a bed in the center and control consoles around the edge of the room. There is also a window overlooking the city. There is another stasis chamber room located near the Plaza. (SGA: "The Last Man")
During a search of the city, Major John Sheppard and his team found one such room where an alternate timeline Dr. Elizabeth Weir was found having been in stasis for 10,000 years. Years later, the clone of Dr. Carson Beckett was placed in stasis to keep him alive after it was discovered he was dying as a result of the process which cloned him. (SGA: "Before I Sleep", "The Kindred, Part 2")
When Sheppard was sent 48,000 years into the future, he spent 800 years in a stasis pod on Atlantis waiting for a particular solar flare to send him back in time. (SGA: "The Last Man")
