The Atlantis' infirmary is an area of Atlantis, designated for the diagnosis, treatment and quarantine of ill and injured people and research of the medical sciences. The infirmary is stocked with a variety of Earth medical technology and supplies but there is also some Ancient technology such as a scanner (Dr. Beckett admitted to not having a clue what most of the Ancient technology does).

Overview

There appears to be at least three levels for the use of the medical division:

• The general infirmary
• The operating level - Several operating theatres.
• The recovery level (Ward) - Beds for recovery, there are also quarantine rooms here.
