Aset's child was the daughter born to the Goa'uld Aset. She was a Harcesis, making her forbidden in Goa'uld culture. Aset cared for her daughter anyway with the help of Renisenb.

History

In 1939, shortly after the Tau'ri arrived at Abydos through the Stargate, Serqet speaks to the child's mother. She points out that Ra will be coming to learn of the infiltrators, and that Aset's child is forbidden and a threat to their kind. She would go on to tell Ra of the child and the people of Earth. (SGO: "Episode 5 (Stargate Origins)", "Episode 10 (Stargate Origins)")

When Ra arrived to the Temple of Aset, Renisenb went to Aset with the child, telling her to go. Aset in turn told her to get her daughter to safety. Before they could get away, however, Ra entered with Serqet and other guards and confronted her. Ra then had his Cheops class warship attack the temple from orbit, while Aset and her child were still inside the building. (SGO: "Episode 10 (Stargate Origins)")
